MICROBIAN is a handcrafted video game that maintains the balance between an experimental artistic project and the adrenaline of a platform runner.
Using a simple and original control, the player advances through a hostile organic atmosphere in a microscopic environment, full of strange creatures and predators.
The illustrator Emma Ríos is part of the Microbian art team and her style brings a unique personality to the project, thanks to the use of hand-painted watercolors.
The sound atmosphere is built from experimental electronic music and soundscapes created by Death Whistle, whose presence is essential for the game experience.
In 2019, DEP GAMES published a first version of MICROBIAN, a semi-procedural video game developed for iOS and Android.
It was designed in black and white and included graphic elements such as engravings, charcoals or textures made with inks.
Activity subsidized by the Ministry of Culture.
